Marriage Wasn't Meant to Be Easy, or Always Enjoyable

Was that a daunting title?  Was your first instinct to agree, or disagree?  I encourage all the wives out there who happen upon my humble blog to check out a month-long series on igniting the fire in your marriage.  Whether you are in a sweet, summery season or trudging blind through cold valleys in your relationship, there is always something you can be doing to protect and strengthen your marriage.

While marriage was never intended to be anyone's sole route to self-fulfillment, key to happiness, or path to completion, it was partly intended for companionship and mutual satisfaction between one man and one woman.  Seeing as neither partner will be perfect, there may be times when either or both will want to throw in the towel.

DON'T.  Don't give up.  Don't give in.  This is where the work comes in.    

I feel like there should be a disclaimer at this point addressing abusive relationships, but I'll leave that to the experts for now.  In the meantime, check out the series linked to the photo above.
